Position Overview:
We are currently looking for talented Journalists, Multimedia Specialists, and Social Media Handlers to join our growing team. Each position plays a vital role in producing high-quality content across multiple platforms, ensuring we deliver informative, entertaining, and visually compelling stories to our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
For Journalists:
- Research, write, and report breaking news, features, and in-depth stories for print, online, and broadcast platforms.
- Conduct interviews, gather information, and verify sources for accuracy.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure content aligns with the organization’s standards and voice.
- Adapt content for different platforms (print, web, social media).
- Meet deadlines and handle multiple stories simultaneously.
For Multimedia Specialists:
- Create high-quality multimedia content (videos, animations, podcasts, infographics, etc.) to complement news stories.
- Edit and produce video content from start to finish, including filming, sound, and visual editing.
- Develop interactive content, such as data visualizations and digital infographics.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to integrate multimedia into stories and ensure a cohesive narrative.
- Stay current with multimedia production trends and best practices.
For Social Media Handlers:
- Manage and curate content for the company’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement, followers, and visibility.
- Create and schedule posts, videos, and stories that align with ongoing news coverage.
- Monitor social media trends and engage with followers to build a loyal community.
- Track performance metrics and provide insights to improve social media presence.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on time, ensuring brand consistency.
Qualifications:
- For Journalists:
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
- Experience in reporting, writing, and editing news content.
- Familiarity with digital media and SEO strategies.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
- For Multimedia Specialists:
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism, Digital Media, Film, or related field.
- Proficiency in multimedia production tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong storytelling skills through video, audio, and visuals.
- Experience in video production, editing, and animation.
- Creative approach to producing engaging online content.
- For Social Media Handlers:
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
- Creative and innovative mindset for creating engaging social media campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple social media platforms simultaneously.
