Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, has officially received her grand prize package worth N150 million, comprising N80 million in cash and a brand-new SUV from Innoson Motors.

The presentation ceremony took place on Tuesday in Ilupeju, Lagos, where representatives from Innoson Motors handed over the car keys to the 23-year-old reality TV star, who emerged winner of the show on Sunday, October 5, after securing 42.8% of the total votes to beat fellow finalists Dede, Koyin, Sultana, and others.

Imisi’s total winnings also include several additional rewards from the show’s sponsors, complementing the main cash prize and SUV. Her triumph places her among previous female champions of the reality show, including Mercy Eke, Phyna, and Ilebaye.

Speaking shortly after receiving her prize, Imisi expressed gratitude to her fans, describing her victory as overwhelming and surreal. “I’m still in shock and grateful for the love and support from everyone across the country,” she said.

She also revealed her desire to pursue a career in acting and collaborate with her Nollywood idol, Funke Akindele, whom she described as a mentor and inspiration. “Yes, Funke Akindele is my number one mentor. I hope to work with her someday. Also, Bimbo Ademoye and Bolaji Ogunmola inspire me a lot,” she stated.

According to her, the Big Brother Naija platform gave her an opportunity to showcase her acting talent and strengthened her passion for the movie industry. “I think people saw a lot of my acting skills in the house. Even housemates said I’m a great actress. I’m ready for more,” she added.

When asked about claims that regional support influenced her victory, Imisi acknowledged that Yoruba fans might have played a part but maintained that her authenticity won hearts. “Maybe. I think Yoruba people are very supportive of their own, so yes, that might’ve helped. But I was just being myself. I don’t think it was a strategy. I was only living my truth,” she said.

Imisi also thanked her Celestial Church community for their prayers and encouragement, promising to use her platform to grow and make a positive impact in the entertainment industry. “Fame is new to me. I’ll seek mentorship, learn, and be intentional. I want to keep evolving,” she affirmed.

Following her win, fans and celebrities have flooded social media with congratulatory messages, describing her victory as well-deserved and a testament to her genuine personality.
