TikTok removed more than four million videos and shut down over 86,000 live sessions in Nigeria during the fourth quarter of 2025 as part of intensified efforts to curb harmful content on the platform. Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested four suspects over an alleged staged kidnapping plot designed to extort N50 million from family members through a fabricated abduction scheme.
