Popular Nigerian pastor and senior pastor at Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo, has debunked his rumoured planned wedding with famous Nollywood star and celebrity, Kate Henshaw.
The rumour mill had been on overdrive with the alleged wedding plan with the best friend of his late wife, Ibidunni Ighodalo, who died in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, barely weeks to her 40th birthday.
The speculations about the purported wedding gained momentum a week ago with the revelation that the official attire (aso-ebi) for the wedding had been released to a selected group of friends and well-wishers.
Speaking to the Osayuwamen Saleh’s UpgradeTV, Pastor Ituah dismissed the reports, stating that he did not know of such plans.
He said, “I loved my wife so much. I take each day as it comes. I don’t know what the future holds. About an Aso Ebi coming out, well, not to the best of my knowledge. The problem with social media is that people feel they can do whatever they want.
“Whoever is spreading this rumour is making money from it. When they are done spreading it, they should come and pay tithe.”
While he acknowledged the possibility of remarriage in the future, Pastor Ituah emphasized that his late wife’s spirit remains with him and that he loved her deeply.
“We’ll take each day as it comes. We don’t know what the future holds. If the future comes and there’s somebody somewhere… But for now, I am stable, I am focused. I have so much that I am doing, I am grateful, and God has been gracious to me,” he said.
