Mutilated Bodies Recovered from Shallow Grave
A Police Station in Aganebode, Headquarters of Etsako-East Local Government Area of Edo State, was on Monday morning set ablaze along with several cars, by the community’s youths who are protesting the killing of their kinsmen by suspected herdsmen.
The youths accused some police officers of aiding and abetting kidnappers and ritual killers.
Officers and men at the station reportedly absconded when the youths stormed the station demanding that the suspected killer herdsmen in detention be released to them for summary justice.

Reports that could not be independently confirmed indicated that at least one person said to be a herder of northern origin has been confirmed dead, while the faiths of several others remain uncertain.
It was gathered that youths of the town trooped to the station early Monday morning, following the discovery of the remains of some persons who were buried in shallow graves.
A report by Edoonlinetv said, “Residents of Agenebode cried out for help as suspected criminals involved in kidnapping and organ harvesting were being protected by some criminal police officers.”
“One of the victims built his house close to where the suspected killers were staying. They killed him and harvested his organ, after which they buried him along with some others,” a source said.
Our source said the community youth were unimpressed with how the policemen were handling the matter and decided to take matters into their own hands by storming the station on Monday morning.
“They brought out one of the suspects arrested by the police and forced him to take them to the site where the remains of their initial victim were buried.
“They also found other victims, including a female who had ribbons on her hair. Five victims were suspected to have been kidnapped, killed and buried after their organs were removed.”
