Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Nomy, has been disqualified from the reality television show following repeated violations of Big Brother’s instructions, rules and disciplinary measures.
Big Brother announced Nomy’s disqualification on Monday, September 7, 2026, during the ongoing “Show Ya Sef” edition of the popular reality TV programme.
According to Big Brother, the decision followed Nomy’s continued disregard for his directives despite previous warnings and disciplinary action.
The housemate had earlier received a final strike in the season after repeatedly failing to comply with Big Brother’s instructions. Her previous infractions reportedly included tardiness and selective participation in activities expected of the housemates.
The final strike was intended to serve as a last warning and gave Nomy an opportunity to remain in the competition provided she adhered to the rules and instructions governing life in the Big Brother house.
However, her continued defiance of Big Brother’s directives ultimately led to the withdrawal of her right to remain in the game.
Following the disqualification announcement, Big Brother instructed Nomy to pack her belongings and leave the house within 30 minutes.
Her exit brings her participation in the Season 11 competition to an immediate end, making her ineligible to compete for the grand prize or take part in the remaining activities of the “Show Ya Sef” edition.
Nomy’s disqualification further underscores the strict disciplinary measures enforced by Big Brother throughout the competition, where housemates are expected to comply with rules, instructions and punishments or risk sanctions, including strikes and eventual eviction or disqualification.
The development is expected to generate reactions among viewers and fans of the reality show, particularly over Nomy’s repeated clashes with Big Brother’s directives.
