The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has declared a 30-year-old man, Abdulazeez Mohammed Musa, wanted over alleged involvement in kidnapping and other related offences.
The development was announced in a notice issued on Wednesday by the corps’ National Public Relations Officer, Babawale Afolabi.
According to the NSCDC, the suspect is being sought in connection with multiple criminal allegations, including kidnapping, conspiracy, causing grievous harm, unlawful confinement, and assault.
“The public is hereby notified that Abdulazeez Mohammed Musa is wanted by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in connection with a case of kidnapping, conspiracy, causing grievous hurt, unlawful confinement, and assault,” the statement read.
The corps provided identifying details to aid in locating the suspect, stating that he is fair in complexion and a native of Danbatta, Kofar Ruwa area of Kano State.
It also listed his last known locations as areas within Lugbe, Abuja, including LGEA Primary School and Government Secondary School.
The NSCDC urged members of the public to provide useful information that could lead to his arrest, advising that such information be reported to its National Headquarters in Abuja, any of its 36 state commands, or the nearest security agency.
The corps reiterated its commitment to combating criminal activities across the country and called for continued public cooperation in ongoing investigations.
