Two men were abducted and another injured after gunmen attacked the Baba Ramo Fulani Camp near Isanlu Isin in Kwara State.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama reported on X that the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The attackers reportedly fired shots into the air before kidnapping two residents, identified as Ibrahim Nuhu and Musa Umar.

During the assault, one person, Opeyemi Ibrahim, sustained a gunshot wound to the right thigh and was taken to Adeyemi Hospital in Omu-Aran for treatment.

In response, local hunters and vigilantes launched a search operation in nearby bushes. They recovered eight empty AK-47 shells, a severed human thumb, a flashlight, and a blue Bajaj motorcycle with the plate number KMA 185 VD. Around 50 cows, believed to have been abandoned by the attackers, were also found.

Makama stated that the recovered items have been handed over to the police, who have launched an investigation to locate the kidnappers and rescue the victims.
