Popular TikTok content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has announced the formalisation of his relationship with his partner, Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, after completing traditional marriage rites.
Peller disclosed the development in a video shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, capturing moments from their family introduction and bride price ceremony.
The footage showed the social media influencer dressed in a white shirt, George wrapper, and red coral beads, while Jarvis appeared in a red wrapper adorned with coral accessories and a beaded crown.
Sharing highlights from the event, Peller expressed joy over the milestone and appreciation to both families for their support and blessings.
“Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love. A beautiful journey has officially begun, and I’m grateful to both families for their blessings. She said ‘yes’ to forever, and now it’s time to build our future together. Officially off the market,” he wrote.
The announcement marks a significant turn in the couple’s relationship, months after reports emerged suggesting they had parted ways.
In January, Peller revealed during a TikTok livestream that he and Jarvis had ended their romantic relationship but remained friends. He also disclosed at the time that he had apologised to Jarvis’ family over issues that had affected their relationship.
The pair later fuelled speculation of a reconciliation after appearing together in several videos shared online, prompting fans to believe they had rekindled their romance.
Their latest traditional marriage ceremony has since attracted widespread congratulatory messages from supporters and followers across social media platforms, many of whom described the event as the beginning of a new chapter for the couple.
Popularly referred to by fans as “Jarpel,” Peller and Jarvis have built a strong online following through their content creation and public displays of affection, making them one of the most talked-about young social media couples in Nigeria.
