The Nigerian Police Force has invited the President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, for question over alleged involvement in terrorism financing.
Ajaero, in the invitation letter signed by ACP Adamu S Muazu, Assistant Commission of Police, in the Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Abuja, is wanted in connection with a case of criminal conspiracy, Terrorism, Treasonable Felony, Subversion and Cybercrime involvement.
Muazu said, “This office is investigating a case of (of the above crimes) in which you (Ajaero) was mention”.
“Be informed that in the event of failing to honour this letter, this office will have no alternative than to activate a warrant of arrest against you.”
The letter directed Ajaero to report at the IRT headquarter at Guzape, Abuja, on Tuesday.
Naija Daily’s investigation showed that the invitation was connected to the recent End Bad Government protest, for which the Nigerian government fingered some foreign mercenaries, including some Polish nationals.
This news medium recalled that the Department of State Security (DSS) had earlier invaded the NLC secretariat in Abuja in search of the suspect.
The NLC President and the congress could not be reached for comment at the time if this report.
