Air Peace celebrated the first anniversary of its Lagos-London route by showing appreciation to passengers for their loyalty and support. The airline marked the occasion with giveaways, a raffle draw, and a cake-cutting ceremony for travelers on both the Lagos-London and London-Lagos flights.

Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, Head of Corporate Communications at Air Peace, in a statement on Tuesday in Lagos, explained that to thank its customers, the airline organized a raffle draw, where 20 fortunate passengers won complimentary rides from the airport to their destinations in the UK and Lagos.

“Specifically, Air Peace offered 10 Simplaa mobility service rides to lucky passengers from Gatwick Airport to their respective destinations across the UK.”

He stated that seven other passengers arriving in Lagos on the London-Lagos flight enjoyed seamless GTi rides from the Murtala Muhammed Airport Two to their various destinations in Lagos, while three passengers enjoyed free complimentary rides on Six Mobility service, making their travel experience hassle-free.

He also disclosed that five lucky passengers flying in the economy class were given a surprise upgrade to business class, adding a touch of luxury to their journey.

According to him, the highlight of the celebration was the cutting off of the first-anniversary cake by enthusiastic passengers on the Lagos-London flight, marking a year of exceptional service and connectivity between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Speaking on the milestone, Air Peace Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Allen Onyema expressed gratitude to the airline’s customers for their unwavering support.

“This anniversary is a testament to our commitment to providing world-class services to Nigerians and travelers across the globe.

“We appreciate our passengers and will continue to enhance their travel experience with top-tier services and rewards.

“Since its launch in 2024, Air Peace’s Lagos-London route has provided affordable and seamless travel options for passengers, solidifying its position as a preferred carrier on the transcontinental route.

“This milestone not only marked the airline’s expansion into the European market but also signified a monumental achievement for Nigerian aviation,” he said.

The airline is also committed to continuously ensuring exceptional travel experience, improving tourism, supporting economic growth, creating jobs, and strengthening Nigeria in the international aviation landscape.
