Paris Saint-Germain successfully defended their UEFA Champions League title after overcoming Arsenal 2-1 on penalties following a gripping 1-1 draw that remained unresolved after 120 minutes of intense action.

Arsenal made a dream start to the final, stunning the holders just six minutes into the contest.
