The United States of America Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria has assured of its commitment to a simplified and transparent visa application process for Nigerians seeking to travel to the US.
The mission, in a statement through its X (former Twitter) handle @USinNigeria, revealed that it has rolled out a number of processes to make it easier for visa application and to address issues observed in the past.
The statement said, “We are committed to simplifying the U.S. visa application process and increasing transparency for all our visa applicants in Nigeria.
“In August, we introduced a new appointment system to streamline services. While we have resolved many initial issues, some challenges remain.
“We appreciate your patience and regret any inconvenience as we work to address these challenges.”
It urged those seeking further information, updates and assistance in applying for visas to U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria (usembassy.gov)
