Opeyemi “Imisi” Ayanwale has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, claiming the N150 million grand prize and the title of Nigeria’s newest reality TV superstar.
Her victory came after ten weeks of fierce competition filled with strategy, alliances, emotional highs and lows, and captivating entertainment.
The grand finale on Sunday night was charged with anticipation as nine housemates vied for the top spot, leaving Dede as the runner-up. The results, verified by Deloitte and confirmed by M-Net, were announced by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
When Ebuka declared Imisi the winner, the studio erupted in cheers. Confetti filled the air as housemates celebrated and social media platforms went into a frenzy. Dressed in a white lace outfit with a wine aso oke, the 23-year-old actor and fashion designer tearfully expressed her gratitude.
Before the final announcement, Ebuka kept the audience on edge with a series of surprising evictions. Kayode, popularly known as Kaybobo, and Isabella George were the first to leave, sparking loud gasps from the audience.
