A woman known only as Gift, believed to be in her early 40s, has been taken into custody by officers of the Nkpolu Police Division in Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, for allegedly severing the tip of her male lover Mr. Sunday’s penis.
The incident occurred on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Bishop Okoye Street, Mile 3, Diobu, Port Harcourt.
According to reports, the conflict began when her lover, Sunday, requested sex, but Gift refused, allegedly because he uses sex-enhancement drugs that cause him to last excessively long during intercourse.
It was learned that Mr. Sunday allegedly resorted to beating Miss Gift for refusing him sex and in the process, she grabbed his penis with her mouth and chopped off the cap of the penis.
Our source mentioned that neighbors were drawn to the scene by Mr. Sunday’s scream. It was also reported that the swift intervention of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Nkpolu Police Division and his team prevented a mob from lynching Miss Gift and rescued her.
Mr. Sunday was subsequently taken to an undisclosed hospital, where he is receiving treatment.
According to reports, the cap of the penis was completely bitten off by the woman.
The spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident.
SP Iringe-Koko said, “Yes, I can confirm the incident. The woman (suspect), has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing.”
“I can’t disclose the police facility she is in, but she is in detention,” she added.
