The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board has arrested a middle-aged woman, Abosede Ojo, for allegedly falsifying her job portal results.

Board Chairman Nureni Adeniran disclosed this in Ibadan, the state capital, on Friday.

He explained that the suspect, who took the recruitment CBT examination, scored 36 and so was not invited for an interview.

However, she allegedly colluded with an examination syndicate to produce a fake congratulatory message to indicate that she had scaled the examination.

He continued, “The suspect confessed that she did not attend the interview, but worked with her husband to obtain a congratulatory message.”

The police are currently investigating transactions between the suspect and the cyber café where she received the printout.

The suspect has been handed over to the police, and the Board plans to track down and apprehend others involved in this illicit activity.

Adeniran advised others against engaging in such unlawful acts, stating that anyone found guilty would face the full consequences of the law.
