A woman and her two children are currently in police custody after she allegedly struck her landlord on the head with a pestle in Umugbabe Ovoko, a community in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The incident was made public by Enugu media personality, Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, who shared the details in a Facebook post on Friday, January 31, 2025.
According to Ugwuanyi, the woman attacked the young landlord, who is an orphan, after he asked her to vacate the premises.
“His Tenant scattered his head with pestle because he asked her to pack out of the house at Umugbabe ovoko Igbo-Eze South LGA Enugu State.
“The woman and her two kids are currently detained at the police station.
“This boy is an orphan and he only allowed the woman to live with him because he was the only one in the big house,” he wrote.
Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
