Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has announced plans to return to school to strengthen his control over his music career and business operations.
The Zazu crooner, who already holds an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, revealed that he now wants to deepen his understanding of the business side of the industry.
Portable explained that his goal is to ensure his record label, Zeh Nation, and his music platforms are properly managed rather than relying solely on others for guidance.
“Even though I already have an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, I still want to further my education so I can understand my music royalties and business deals better, especially for my record label, Zeh Nation,” he said.
The singer emphasized that the decision is not just about acquiring another certificate but gaining the practical skills needed to run his music empire like a seasoned entrepreneur.
