Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola delivered a heartfelt and candid speech to his daughter, Temi Otedola, and her husband, singer and entrepreneur Mr. Eazi (Tosin Ajibade), during their wedding reception.

Praising the couple’s deep connection and shared entrepreneurial spirit, Otedola described their union as “made in heaven.”

“You’re truly in love with each other—truly, truly in love,” he said. “Temi is an entrepreneur. Tosin is an entrepreneur. You complement each other perfectly.”

Offering fatherly advice to his daughter, Otedola urged her to prioritise her marriage and support her husband wholeheartedly.

“You found a great guy—very great, very blessed. He comes from a decent family,” he said. “One thing I’ll advise you: you have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. He is your husband now—he’s your boss. There’s no more ‘Dad, don’t call me up.’”

He went on to commend Mr. Eazi’s drive and potential, highlighting the new generation’s relentless entrepreneurial spirit.

“When we were younger, we thought we hustled,” he remarked. “But not like your generation. You’re real hustlers—and it’s paying off. Tosin, you’re going to go places.”

Otedola also offered practical marital advice, encouraging the couple to resolve their issues privately and maintain the sanctity of their relationship.

“When you face challenges, keep them between yourselves. Don’t involve friends. Just work through it together. And God will bless your marriage.”

In a symbolic gesture, he presented the newlyweds with a significant gift, expressing confidence in their shared future.

“I thought hard about what to give you both. I even splintered my savings account,” he joked. “But here’s my gift: as entrepreneurs, go out there—out-think, out-manoeuvre, and out-spend. You’ll be great people.”

He concluded his speech by thanking guests and offering his blessings.

“Thank you all, and safe travels back to wherever you came from. God bless you all. I love you all.”

The couple’s wedding celebrations spanned three countries—Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland—making for a truly global affair.

Following the ceremony, Temi updated her surname on social media to “Ajibade,” sparking conversations about the tradition of women adopting their husband’s last names in marriage.
