Another Nigerian national (name yet unknown) has been arrested at the Lahore International Airport, Pakistan, for alleged drug smuggling charges.

The 608 grams of cocaine seized from the suspect is worth no less than $60,000 (N1bn at the rate of N1,605) to a dollar) in street value, at the rate of $100/gram.
Eight Nigerians have earlier been arrested in the Asian country in several operations that yielded a haul of 11.42kg of narcotics.
The latest arrest was carried out on Thursday when the unnamed Nigerian flew into Lahore from Lagos via Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
He was discovered with 38 cocaine-filled capsules, weighing 608 grams that were injected and hidden in his stomach.
The Pakistani drug agency, Anti-Narcotics Force lamented the growing trend of foreigners, including Nigerians, bringing drugs into the country.
A spokesperson of the agency said 4.88kg of drugs were intercepted from 10 Nigerians in 2023.
