Gospel music sensation, Mercy Chinwo, made history by winning the Best Gospel Artist award at the Trace Awards 2025 on Wednesday, February 26.
The event, held at The Mora Resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania, celebrated musical excellence and featured top artists like Rema, Wizkid, Tyler, Josey, and Stonebwoy.
Her win was especially significant to Nigerians, as she triumphed despite a public royalty dispute with her former manager.
