Naija Daily News gathered that the shift is in continuation of the UK government’s transition from TLScontact to VFS Global in several countries across the world.
The transition affects visa application processes in three (3) continents – Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
An update provided by the UK government stated that from November 5, 2024: VFS Global will manage visa centres in countries including France, Iraq, Israel, Turkey, and Ukraine, among others.
From November 19, 2024: VFS Global will expand its services to African countries such as Angola, Nigeria, and Zambia, as well as Turkmenistan.
It advised applicants in the affected regions to reschedule and verify fee information while urging them to visit the official website for a “detailed list of countries and additional guidance”.
