The PDP leader and his supporters expressed their unwavering support for Oborevwori and key figures such as Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, and Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, a member of the House of Representatives.
The leadership of DESOPADEC, including Chief John Nani and Chief Festus Ochonogor, was also commended for their contributions to the state’s development.
Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (NNPCL) was also recognized for its crucial role in safeguarding national assets, which has led to cleaner waterways and improved fishing conditions for local communities in the Niger Delta.

Chief Izoukumor, in his welcome address, expressed profound gratitude to his supporters, who hail from various wards in Warri and other regions, for their consistent backing of the government, emphasising that their continued support had been pivotal to the successes achieved so far.
“The purpose of this gathering is to thank you for your unwavering commitment,” Izoukumor said. “Without your support, we would not be in government today. Your contributions have been invaluable, even if some of you have not directly benefited from our actions.”
He acknowledged the challenges that had prevented the full realization of planned initiatives during the holiday season but reassured the attendees that their efforts were not overlooked. “You are always in our thoughts. The core purpose of governance is to serve the people, and with God’s help, we will deliver on our promises of progress and infrastructural growth in the year ahead.”
Izoukumor encouraged his supporters to remain resolute and continue their commitment to the government’s vision. “Do not falter in your support. Together, we will build a prosperous future for Delta State.”
The DESOPADEC Executive Director also commended Tantita for its successful intervention in curbing oil theft, which has contributed to the revival of aquatic life in the region.
Recalling his background as a fisherman, Izoukumor noted that oil pollution had previously threatened the livelihoods of local fishermen for over 15 years. “Now, our fishermen and fisherwomen can once again catch fish during the day, thanks to the collective efforts of Tantita and the grace of God,” he added.
