The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, stated that those opposed to progress are displeased with his reconciliation with his successor, the suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
Wike made this remark on Thursday during a media briefing in Abuja, affirming that peace has been restored in the state.
He accused several individuals of exploiting the crisis in the state as a source of personal gain, likening it to an “oil well” fueling illicit profits for their benefit.
The minister further emphasized that he owes no one an explanation regarding the terms of the agreement between him and Fubara.
