Nigerian-born Borussia Dortmund football star, Karim Adeyemi who is holidaying in Nigeria has visited the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyey Enitan Ogunwusi with his father and other family members.
Naija Daily News gathered that Adeyemi arrived in Nigeria four days ago and spent the Christmas holiday in Ibadan, where he donated to indigent persons through his Karim Adeyemi Foundation.
On Thursday, Boxing Day, Karim inaugurated a water borehole project in Ibadan, which the foundation had donated to the Temidire Community in Oje-Ibadan.
The Dortmund star and his father visited the Ooni and other prominent Southwest leaders.
They also participated in a lawn tennis tourney at the Ibadan Recreation Centre to raise awareness about the foundation.
The foundation said the gesture was part of the KAF’s desire to spread joy during the season, saying, “Every face deserves a smile.”
