The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Benue State, has indefinitely suspended its President, Comrade Tivkaa Evelyn Terwanger, over serious allegations including forgery, criminal impersonation, gross misconduct, and misappropriation of funds.
The decision was unanimously adopted during a plenary session of the Students’ Union Parliament held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Following the resolution, the parliament directed Comrade Terwanger to immediately hand over all Students’ Union property in her possession to the Vice President, Comrade Ogberu Emmanuel Abi, who will assume the role of Acting President pending the outcome of ongoing investigations.
In an official notice, the parliament warned the public against engaging in any official dealings with Comrade Terwanger in her former capacity as SUG president.
Reaffirming its dedication to transparency and accountability, the parliament emphasized that the suspension was a necessary step taken in the collective interest of the student body.
