
Asake has dethroned fellow Nigerian Afrobeat star, Burna Boy as the Afrobeat star with the most songs on the Billboard charts.
Naija Daily confirms that Ahmed Ololade, popular called Asake, currently has nine hit songs from his sophomore album titled Lungu Boy on the streaming chart
The song is also topping the charts in about 20 countries worldwide during the week, including the UK, Nigeria, UAE, Canada, Kenya, Niger, Senegal, Uganda, Tanzania, Mauritius and many other African countries.
This has been confirmed by Apple music and other streaming platforms.
One of the songs on the Lungu album, Active, which features Travis Scott sits atop the Billboard Afrobeat chart.
Asake is signed to Olamide’a (BADDOO) YBNL (Yahoo Boy No Laptop) records and he has headlined many sellout concerts across the world.
