Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate George Moghalu has fallen behind in his own polling unit in the ongoing Anambra governorship election.
Preliminary results from Polling Unit 017, Uruagu Ward 1, Nnewi North Local Government Area, show that Moghalu trailed the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate, Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
Of the 463 registered voters at the unit, only 86 were accredited for the November 8 poll. Soludo emerged with 57 votes, while Moghalu secured 22. The remaining votes were shared among other parties.
The result indicates early voting trends in the area as collation continues across the state.
