The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has dismissed the Acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS), Michael Ango.
The decision was announced on Friday in a statement issued by Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant to the Minister on Public Communication and Social Media.
According to the statement, the most senior official in the FCT-IRS has been directed to immediately assume leadership of the revenue agency.
While confirming the development, the statement did not disclose the reason behind Ango’s removal.
