The Kano State Police Command has arrested two operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for allegedly shooting and killing a 19-year-old lady, Patient Samuel, in Jaba Quarters,This was contained in a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama on X on Thursday.
According to him, the incident occurred on Wednesday night at about 10:55 p.m.“The officers, identified as Nass Ridwan Usman, 23, and Sna Ismaila Yakubu, 26, were attached to the NDLEA’s Kano State headquarters.
“A team of personnel was dispatched to the scene, where the victim was found and immediately evacuated to Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital. Unfortunately, she was confirmed dead on arrival.”
The police recovered several items from the suspects, including their operational motorcycle, one live round of ammunition, four empty shells of 7.62×51mm ammunition, and two knives.
“An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and ensure justice is served.”
