Former VP, billionnaire oil mogul, producer, music stars named

The Nigerian social media is going haywire after a faceless Nigerian news blogger, Gist Lovers Blog (Vawulence Headquarters) released a long list of over 100 famous Nigerians who are in homosexual relationships.

The multi-series list, which was started three days ago, featured some bold, but doubtful names of top politicians including a former Vice President, governors and senators from across the country.

The list also featured top and famous musicians, actors, music- and movie producers, skit makers, social media influencers, lawyers and entrepreneurs, whom it claims are in same-sex relationships.

The list and account, which has spurned many copycats attributed the successes and meteoric rise of some actors and showbiz operators to their gay relationships.

In a clicker to one of the lists, GistLover wrote, “The industry is dark or the price they pay for fame sometimes is huge”.

The celebrities listed included a multimillionaire oil mogul, an award-winning music producer, a popular and highly influential standup comedian, one of twin musicians, and some ex-Big Brother housemates, including at least one winner.

However, the authenticity of the list is a subject of debate, with some Nigerians hinting that the blogger, who had been out of circulation for months was plotting a way back to the spotlight.

Weighing in on the matter, another social media personality, Very Dark Man (VDM) urged Nigerians to demand proof before jumping to the conclusion.

“This is 2024, if you post something make sure they post it with proofs. I do not know whether Gistlover is lying or if they are telling the truth. But let them bring proof so that they would make it clear.”

He said he had also been accused of being gay, adding, “I am not (gay).”

Nevertheless, VDM confirmed that some people in the Nigerian entertainment industry are taking advantage of upcoming stars, but insisted on proof.
