Former Senate President David Mark, ex-Minister Rauf Aregbesola, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal, ex-Minister Bolaji Abdullahi, and retired General Tunde Ogbeha have taken up key positions in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as part of the newly inaugurated National Executive Committee (NEC).

Their appointments were formalized during a swearing-in ceremony held Monday night at the Chelsea Hotel in Abuja, marking the official transition from the Ralph Nwosu-led leadership. The event was attended by representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), ensuring the process adhered to electoral regulations.

All new NEC members were present at the brief but symbolic ceremony, which followed the party’s NEC meeting. The new leadership takes effect immediately and is expected to steer the party into a fresh phase as it aligns with a broader opposition coalition in preparation for future elections.
