The Rivers State Police Command has announced the appointment of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Agabe Blessing Kaborlo as its new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).
The appointment, approved by the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, was disclosed in a statement issued by the Command.
ASP Kaborlo, an indigene of Ogoni in Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State, was commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force in 2023 after completing a five-year training programme at the Nigeria Police Academy, where she earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B). She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Rivers State University.
Throughout her career, she has undergone several specialised trainings, including a Combat Operations and Counter-Terrorism Course at the Police Mobile Force Training School in Ende Hills, Nasarawa State, and a Citizenship and Leadership Training Course in Shere Hills, Jos.
She has served in multiple capacities within the Force, including at the Divisional Police Station in Okporo, the Human Rights Section, and as Second-in-Command of the Police Public Relations Office in Rivers State Command—a role she held until her latest appointment.
The Command described her as a dedicated and disciplined officer with a record of professionalism in service.
