Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, on Thursday arrived at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, to a rousing welcome from his supporters.
The governor’s aircraft touched down at about 11:55 a.m., as hundreds of loyalists gathered at the airport terminal, waiting to receive him.
Details of his return are expected to unfold in the coming hours.
