American music icon Beyoncé has officially joined the billionaire ranks, according to Forbes magazine, becoming only the fifth musician to reach the milestone.

The 44-year-old singer now stands alongside her husband, rapper Jay-Z, as well as Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna in an exclusive group of artists whose fortunes have crossed the billion-dollar mark.

Forbes said Beyoncé’s wealth was built on several exceptionally lucrative years, driven largely by her music and touring success. Her Renaissance World Tour in 2023 grossed nearly $600 million, ranking among the highest-grossing tours of all time.

In 2024, she broadened her musical range with the release of Cowboy Carter, a Grammy-winning country album that further boosted her global appeal. This momentum carried into 2025, when she staged what Forbes described as the world’s highest-grossing tour of the year.

Combining touring revenue with income from her music catalogue and other business deals, Forbes estimated that Beyoncé earned $148 million before taxes in 2025, making her the third highest-paid musician in the world during the period.

While the publication did not disclose a precise figure for her net worth, it noted that the bulk of Beyoncé’s personal wealth comes from her music, global tours, and ownership of her master recordings. She also oversees her career through Parkwood Entertainment and has expanded her business interests to include ventures in hair care, fashion, and spirits.
