Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has opened up for the first time since his disqualification from the reality show, sharing an emotional message about his personal journey, struggles, and newfound perspective on life.
Faith, who was disqualified for breaching the show’s rules, released a heartfelt video on his YouTube channel on Friday, where he reflected on his experience and expressed gratitude to his supporters.
“The old Faith is gone, but his story still lives on,” the 25-year-old reality star began, setting the tone for a deeply personal account of his transformation since leaving the 10/10 edition of the show.
Recounting the events that led to his entry into the show, Faith revealed how a single text message changed the course of his life.
“On March 5th, 2025, I got a text message that flipped my world upside down. One click on that link and everything changed,” he said.
According to him, he was initially frustrated about his future after returning to Nigeria as a medical doctor but decided to take a chance on the BBNaija audition — a decision that required courage and sacrifice.
“I did the unthinkable to get in there. I took a loan of five million naira, and somehow, I made it,” he recounted.
Faith admitted to making mistakes during his stay in the house.
“I wasn’t perfect. I screamed, I argued, I broke things. I failed tasks. I said things I shouldn’t have said. I lost friends,” he confessed, adding that he sought professional help while in the house.
“I was overwhelmed. I was isolated. And to be honest, I asked for a therapist over three times because I knew I needed help.”
Despite his disqualification, Faith said he was humbled by the overwhelming support he received from fans across the continent.
“Outside those walls, a whole continent was standing for me. People I’d never met were shouting my name, fighting for me, spending hard-earned money to keep me in that house,” he said.
Faith concluded his message with gratitude, saying his fans saw beyond his flaws.
“They didn’t see a perfect man. They saw Faith — the little kid that had flaws, passion, and purpose,” he said, hinting at new projects and a renewed focus on personal growth.
