Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has been appointed as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), a youth-focused support group backing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.

The appointment was announced in a post on the movement’s official Instagram page, where CBM described Chief Priest as a key figure in promoting the president’s Renewed Hope agenda.

According to the group, the socialite brings “experience, influence, and a people-centred approach” to mobilizing support for the campaign.

“City Boy Movement appoints Pascal C. Okechukwu (Cubana Chief Priest), who stands as a symbol of dedication, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment to the growth of the City Boy Movement,” the statement said.

It added that, as Imo State Director, he is expected to strengthen party structures, mobilize grassroots support, and advance the Renewed Hope agenda across the state.

“With a clear vision for progress and unity, Imo State remains firmly positioned for inclusive development, effective leadership, and sustained political engagement,” the statement noted.

The development comes days after Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, presented Nigerian businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, with a letter of appointment as the South-east Director of the City Boy Movement on February 3.
