AMVCA 2025: Full List of Nominees Announced

The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) has officially unveiled the nominees for its highly anticipated 2025 edition, recognizing excellence in film, television, and digital content released between January 1 and December 31, 2024.

Leading the nominations this year are Lisabi: The Uprising, Skeleton Coast, House of Ga’a, and Freedom Way, each securing multiple nods across various categories, including Best Movie and Best Director.

The acting categories feature a lineup of celebrated talents, with Gideon Okeke, Stan Nze, Femi Adebayo, and Adedimeji Lateef competing for Best Lead Actor. Meanwhile, Chioma Chukwuka, Bimbo Ademoye, and Uche Montana are among the top contenders for Best Lead Actress.

Public voting is now open and will run until May 4, 2025. The winners will be revealed during the live AMVCA ceremony on May 10, 2025, airing across all Africa Magic channels on DStv and GOtv.
