Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading carrier, will begin direct flights from Abuja to both London Heathrow and London Gatwick on October 26, 2025, marking a major step in its international expansion.

According to a statement from the airline, the new routes underscore Air Peace’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and delivering top-tier service between Nigeria and the United Kingdom. The flights will be operated with the airline’s wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft, offering passengers greater comfort, premium cabin options, and seamless travel experiences.

“With this development, Air Peace becomes the first Nigerian airline to operate direct services from Abuja to both of London’s major international airports,” the statement said. “This reinforces our leadership in regional and intercontinental aviation.”

The new service is built on a unique connectivity model. Passengers from across Nigeria can now book a single ticket from any Air Peace domestic destination to either Heathrow or Gatwick via Abuja—eliminating the hassle of multiple bookings or baggage re-checks. Conversely, travelers from the UK can easily connect to cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Owerri, Kano, and Asaba through Air Peace’s Abuja hub.

This integrated network offers passengers flexibility, convenience, and significant value. To celebrate the launch, Air Peace is offering round-trip fares starting from just N1,000,000, along with generous baggage allowances.
